No. The search for a winner continues. Based on the official results, there was no jackpot winner for the Friday, September 19 drawing. The jackpot has now rolled over, making the next drawing an even bigger opportunity.

The next Mega Millions jackpot for the Tuesday, September 23 drawing is an estimated $451 million with a cash option of $208.7 million.


How Much Did Others Win?

While no one matched all six numbers for the jackpot, there were many other winners in lower tiers, thanks to the new built-in multiplier feature.

  • One lucky player in California matched all five white balls, taking home a $3 million prize.
  • Several players across the country also won prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000 for matching four white balls and/or the Mega Ball.

How to Play Mega Millions

For just $5 per ticket, you can select six numbers from two separate pools:

  • Five numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls)
  • One number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Ball)

What’s the New Multiplier?

Mega Millions has retired its Megaplier feature and now has a built-in multiplier. This new feature automatically increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five, or 10 times. The multiplier is randomly assigned to every play at the time of purchase.
